Topic About Osho
Finally, Osho's books are available online for friends and lovers to read, on the Osho.com website. There are currently about 3,000 talks (chapters) in English, we can hope that Hindi will soon follow. There still seem to be some bugs to work out though as the library crashed with .NET errors many times.
While Osho's books have been available online previously, it has always been through 'non-official' sites such as Osho World or Osho Search. These sites exist with a constant threat of being closed down due to copyright infringement. That hasn't changed, but one of the arguments for their existence was that Osho's body of work should be available on the Internet and if the Osho International Meditation Resort management couldn't get that together then individuals would do so in their stead.
Although there have been rumours of the Resort management team doing some creative editing on the books there has been little in the way of actual examples. It is well known that Osho wanted sannyasins names removed from the texts and have them become more non-personal and that appears to have happened. Sheela may have been air-brushed from history. But the bulk of Osho's wit and wisdom is there, available to all, for free. That is to be applauded.
